TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It should inform your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
